Tell us where you live and a little bit about your family.
I live in University Heights, Ohio (Greater Cleveland) with my wife Carmela. We have four fantastic, hard-working kids that live in New York, Texas, and Ohio. University Heights is named after John Carroll University. Notable graduates include Tim Russert, and Don Shula.
What is your favorite city to travel to for business?
Easy. St. Louis! Like my hometown, there is a “depth” to the city that eludes most casual observers. In Clayton within walking distance to Savile Row there are a multitude of options for great causal food or fine dining. The neighborhood is beautiful and relaxing.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
When I was a kid, we pitched a tent behind the breaker dunes at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. I’ve returned to the Outer Banks area many times since.
What are you currently reading?
Currently, I am into “The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell” by Robert Dugoni. On deck is “Life Force” by Tony Robbins (Recommended by David Shockley!)
How long have you been with Scabal?
I joined forces with Scabal USA in Fall of 2014. As it is said, “When you love what you do, it’s not work.” Amen.
What’s new for Spring 2023?
Spring is always exciting because of the range and vibrancy of color! Eggplant, ruby, and gold are all strong along with the continued inertia for the green tonal spectrum. (Fear not, we’ll offer a myriad of options in colorations of tan, gray, and blue as well). In terms of fabrications, Scabal continues our commitment to stretch suiting and jacketing fabrics along with wool/silk blends, cottons, linens, and tropical cashmere!
